Today rings in the new work year for most of us.  I’ve been off of work since December 20, and I’m finding it very difficult to get back into “the groove” of things.  (I know, big sob story, boo hoo for me 🙂 ).  I’ve also taken a week or so off of posting to the blog, so I’m making it back to this as well.

I’ve been noticing in increase in frequency of my headaches over the past two weeks.  Again I can’t notice any lifestyle change except I’ve been at home more.  In the back of my mind I still think environmental conditions in that house are causing my headaches.  I think the air filter we bought helps a bit but it could be dust/mold related.  I don’t see any huge plops of mold or anything like that, but it’s curious that when I was in Chicago twice last year for a week at a crack and when we were in Hawaii, my migraines decreased.

Speaking of Hawaii, we finally had our underwater photographs developed.  They’re on my Flickr photostream in the sidebar if you’re interested in seeing them.

I need more coffee.  Take care and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

What beautiful photos!

I always have fewer and less severe headaches when I’m on vacation — no matter where it is. In fact, before we moved to Seattle, my headaches were better when we visited here than when we were in Phoenix. Once we moved and this became home, the opposite was true.

If only I could figure out how to be on vacation all the time…

Sorry you had to go back to work. What a bummer!
If your migraines are, in fact, triggered by dust/mold, the air filter may be temporarily making it worse. When you first install an air filter, it stirs things up and has to filter out all the dust you ALREADY have in your home. That can cause problems for a little while. Hang in there and it should get better soon, if that is the issue.
My family & I are going to Kauai in June. CANT WAIT!!!
