Well it’s been a bit hectic here and I’m finally sitting down and writing a post.

This morning I woke up with a blistering headache and a dog tethered to my back.  Our dog decided to pin itself between Tazz and myself and sleep.  I woke up wondering why I was so warm and I realized it was the fur ball.  After about a half hour of being too lazy to actually get out of bed, I got a headache.  I then, again too lazy to get out of bed, hung my head over the edge of the bed to get the blood to rush to my head.  Shockingly this worked a little even though I looked like a fool.  Tazz was looking at me from the living room like I was a nut job.  Good call.

Tazz and I went holiday shopping today.  We ended up getting stuff for people we normally don’t buy for and that’s fine.  Last year our budget was really tight with only me being employed.  This year we’re at least in the black and feel like giving more.  My mom is worried about the bills from the hospital but the way I look at it, it was worth it.  She did get news from the ob/gyn that she did not have cancer.  (yay!!)

We were in the basement rec area writing out holiday cards and I started going through the game shelf.  I found a 1000-piece puzzle my mom gave us a few years back.  It was still in the plastic.  So, after we finished with the cards, we busted out the puzzle.  At 12:09am we finally finished the outside pieces.  Wow I am wiped!  It was fun though and better than sitting around watching tv.  🙂

I’m glad to hear that the two of you are doing well. And I’m REALLY happy to hear that your mom does not have cancer.
I hope the two of you have a fantastic holiday. Make it a good one!
