My partner and I were driving to meet our friend Marie and his mom and brother.  I should say, I was driving.  About two miles before the exit, I started to get a headache behind my left eye in the common spot.  Stupid here has the emergency stash of meds in an aluminum container on my keychain.  Where was that keychain?  Hanging out of the ignition.  Tazz was able to get it open and I got some Excedrin.  At one point I couldn’t even keep my left eye open.  Something in side of me said I should really pull over.  Why I didn’t, I am not sure.  We got there okay and after it lasted 15 minutes maybe.

The thing I was considering was if a migraine debilitates a person when driving, isn’t this as bad as a seizure?  I don’t want to admit it (although I am kinda now) that there is the potential for my instant-on migraines to be a risk for other people on the road.  I must say though, my concentration is still better than the average cell-phone toting, cigarette smoking, lane-swerving driver.  However, I am technically in an alterred state when this stuff happens.  Nuff said, just a rant really.

It’s been a pretty slow weekend, but I’m liking that.  This past week at work was very stressful but just because of the amount of work.  I’m not used to being this under pressure, but it’s good really.  My neck, however, has been knotted up and my futile attempts at helping it make it worse.  I’m going to the chiropractor on Monday for a long overdue adjustment.  My new insurance plan literally has two chiropractic offices in it.  I’m going back to my guy and paying cash.  I think it’s worth it.

We’re off to meet my parents for lunch and to get my photography lighting equipment that my dad borrowed for a group shot.  Enjoy 🙂
